When Darrell was born, he weighed only 2 lbs, was 13¼" long and Matt could hold him
on one hand. He was born 3½ months too early. We went through a lot at this time. We
had to leave our tiny baby in the hospital which was 2 hours away from home, for 2
months. We Thank everyone for so much support and gas money donations so we
could go see him as much as possible. Darrell has chronic lung disease as a result of
the respirator damaging his lung tissue, but it should repair its self by the age of 2
years.
