| This is my 2007 NAN Auction Donation piece. This was the Peter Stone Standing Drafter.... She was Drastically Customized to a beautiful, Gentle Draft Cross mare. She is not in a show stand, she has more of a feeling of standing in the pasture, maybe retired... Completely alert watching her owner coming out to feed. My inspiration for this piece is a memory of me sitting in the pasture for hours with our Drafter mare, weaving flowers into her mane and tail. She didn't mind a bit, she always had the most gentle personality and the biggest heart I have ever known a horse to have. I would sometimes just lay on her back while she grazed. She would do just about anything I asked her to do. I will never forget her. Her name was Wild Rose. |
| Rose is a gorgeous Bay Roan or Blue Roan, done in Hair by Hair detail that will blow your mind. I have spent countless hours on her paint job alone, and almost as long on customizing her. |
